For those of  you who are thinking about getting a OnePlus One, I am sure you are having a hard time getting an invite, if you have not got one yet.  There’s a way to convert your Nexus 5 into OnePlus One since OnePlus One uses a slightly modified version of CM11 ROM.

OnePlus One has its own Next camera app (which is pretty cool), lockscreen, AudioFX app (sorta like ViperAudio, pretty cool audio app actually), and couple other features.  You can get most of the OnePlus One features on your Nexus 5 by installing CM11 ROM along with our HighOnAndroid OnePlus One conversion kit.  This will give you practically all the features minus screen-off gestures, which is something we are working on to port.

The OnePlus One Next Camera works really well on the Nexus 5 since it’s a Nexus device.  You also get Google Camera app so you can switch back and forth, enjoying the best of both worlds.  Make sure you swipe from top to bottom to check out all the different modes.

Hey Max I have a quick question. When there is a new version of CM11 do I need to wipe data like when I am coming from a different ROM or do I just need to install it?
